DETROIT – The all-new five-passenger 2010 Terrain is the newest crossover from GMC that blends bold styling with premium features and outstanding fuel economy. Terrain will to build off the momentum established by Acadia with GMC innovation and engineering excellence in a smaller, fuel-efficient package for today’s buyer. Highlights include an all-new 2.4L four-cylinder Direct Injection engine that delivers an expected segment-best highway fuel economy of 32 mpg. There’s also a standard Rear Vision Camera System and a Multi-Flex® rear seat designed to provide a high level of passenger comfort and optimal cargo space. Terrain will go on sale in late summer, with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models offered in SLE and SLT trim levels.

Responsive performance
Terrain's stiff body structure serves as the foundation for precise suspension tuning, safety and a quiet ride. Buyers can choose from a family of efficient, 182-horsepower 2.4L direct-injection Variable Valve Timing (VVT) engines mated to a fuel-conserving six-speed automatic transmission and Rear Vision Camera System.
The direct injection engines in the Terrain create more power with less fuel and reduce vehicle emissions through greater combustion control – particularly cold-start emissions that are reduced by up to 25 percent.
The 2010 LaCrosse will be offered in Four Seriously well Equipped models - SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1 and SLT-2:
- SLE-1 – Includes 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, Rear Vision Camera System, fog lamps, heated outside rearview mirrors, six-speaker AM/FM/CD with Integrated USB port and XM* Radio, two-way power driver's seat and OnStar*, all standard.
- SLE-2 – Standard equipment includes a premium cloth interior, 8-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth* connectivity for phone, automatic single-zone air conditioning and a premium pioneer* 8-speaker audio system. Available features include the 3.0L V6 SIDI engine, 18- and 19-inch wheels, power sunroof, Remote Start, heated cloth seats, Dual Seat Back DVD system and a Navigation System.
- SLT-1 – Adds heated leather seating, 18-inch aluminum wheels and Remote Start as standard equipment, while offering options such as the 3.0L V6 SIDI engine, Power Programmable Liftgate, 19-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, power sunroof, Dual Seat Back DVD System and a Navigation System.
- SLT-2 – The most uplevel Terrain model features driver's-side memory, Power Programmable Liftgate, power sunroof and a Chrome Exterior Appearance Package that includes chrome door handles, luggage rail inserts, grille, mirrors and body-color bumpers with chrome rear skid plates. Optional features mirror the SLT-1.
